The Monroe County Intermediate School District works collaboratively with schools and communities to meet the educational needs of students in the Monroe area. By merging resources and providing services regionally, we provide important programs and services to nine local K-12 school districts and charter, parochial and private schools in the most cost-effective ways possible.

Title III Handbook
In February 2016, the Monroe County Prosecutor's Office, in cooperation with the Monroe County ISD and all nine local school districts, launched the new Monroe County Truancy Protocol: Project Graduation. This new truancy plan is focused on increasing student attendance and high school graduation rates.
