Through the support generated since 1997 by our countywide technology enhancement millage, the public school districts in Monroe County have championed the use of educational technology, incorporating the best new classroom strategies that enrich students’ learning experiences and prepare them for real-life careers.

With educational technology, our local classrooms open up whole new universes of understanding. Students can investigate the “whys” and “hows” of science. They can develop skills in mathematics, the performing and visual arts, civics, history and literature. They can explore career possibilities and get ready to embrace the future.
