Knabusch Math and Science Center
Knabusch Math & Science Center
The Knabusch Math and Science Center is a partnership with the Monroe County Intermediate School District, Monroe Public Schools and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
Student Field Trips
Field Trips at the Knabusch Math and Science Center consist of 2 hours of material that aligns with the Michigan Science Standards at varying grade levels. Teachers will indicate what 2 hours work best for them within one of the following windows: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and 12:30 - 3:30 pm. Upon confirming a field trip, teachers may be given a possible set of pre-activities to complete in their classroom prior to attending. At the completion on the field trip, teachers will be given an opportunity to schedule follow-up conversations with the coordinator of the Knabusch Math and Science Center through Facetime, Skype, e-mail, or phone call. Teachers are encouraged to contact the Center director to discuss field trip opportunities.
